We don't add or subtract nutrients to our special 48 Custom Essentials blends because Custom Essentials is unlike any supplement that
you may have taken before. Just as one shoe size doesn't work for everyone, one amount of any given
nutrient doesn't work for everyone, because we are all so different. Some of the best nutritional science minds in the country are
behind the development of this product, which is based on the concept of biochemical individuality. Custom Essentials is the first
supplement to use scientific testing to determine those differences in supplementation needs in three critical areas of metabolic function.
That is what makes Custom Essentials so special. First of all, it is based on testing of YOUR biochemistry, looking at pathways that are
actually using these specific nutrients and how well these pathways are functioning. This is a much more reliable indicator of
your nutrient dosage correctness than just using general dosage guidelines for every nutrient.
Secondly, the nutrients in Custon Essentials are combined in synergistic fashion so that each nutrient complements and potentiates, or enhances, the

Can I take additional supplements with my Custom Essentials?
Custom Essentials, as the name implies, provides all the known essential nutrients and is designed to support general good health.
Custom Essentials also provides targeted extra support for the three pathways evaluated in the PrivaTest. If you have a specific
health condition for which your doctor has told you to take a certain amount of any given nutrient, you may use Custom Essentials
as a base and add to it as instructed. It is not the policy of The Trump Network to contradict any instruction given to any person
by their healthcare provider.
In addition, there are many nutrients that are not considered essential yet which provide health benefits. It is perfectly
acceptable to use Custom Essentials as your base and add these extra nutrients as needed. That is also why we have other
nutritional products in our Custom Essentials, Occasional Series line and other specific tests that can further customize any total
personal health program as needed.
My level of (any nutrient) in my Custom Essentials seems too small. Don't I need more?
It is true that some of our nutrient amounts are less than you can find in health food store brands.
However, in our experience it has been found that often "less is more." For instance, did you know that even just a little
over 100 mg of vitamin B6 can actually reduce sulfation in liver detoxification? The Trump Network has been promoting this concept since the
first Custom Essentials was formulated and recently, the prestigious Linus Pauling Institute has begun to agree with this concept as well.
Once again, an indication that Custom Essentials is on the cutting edge of nutritional information.
Furthermore, the form in which a nutrient is provided, together with how it is prepared and blended will also affect its absorption.

Are the products safe for people with hypertension, diabetes, asthma, or cancer?

What if I have a medical condition and I go to my doctor and he/she doesn't believe in or know about supplements?
It is not The Trump Network's corporate place to "convince" anyone of the value of our programs and products. The best course of
action is to provide information to your healthcare professional and let them make an informed decision with you. Bear in mind that
most conventional clinicians have barely enough time to keep up with the literature in their own specialty, and very few will have
read the medical research literature in nutritional and metabolic medicine. Some clinicians will initially question the validity of
nutritional and metabolic testing because they are not familiar with the related science. The monograph written by Dr. Bralley is
intended to provide a summary of the relevant literature for those clinicians unfamiliar with the research. The best information can
come from your Supplement Fact Sheets package on your supplements or blends, your PrivaTest report, and particularly the scientific
monographs by Dr. Bralley.
I've been on the Custom Essentials for a while now and have just found out I am pregnant. Should I stop my Custom Essentials?
Custom Essentials is not designed specifically as a prenatal multivitamin mineral. It does not contain extra amounts of certain
nutrients (such as folic acid and iron, which can be needed in prescription amounts during pregnancy). Also, Custom Essentials is designed for
your biochemistry, which may not match that of your baby's, and while it is in no way harmful, it might not supply all the needs
of a growing fetus. Therefore, we recommend that you begin using a multivitamin
mineral that is specifically designed for this special purpose. Check with your obstetrician.
I'm nursing a baby. Are Custom Essentials okay to use?
Although herbs have been used traditionally for thousands of years, and the low doses in Custom Essentials are quite safe, there is not
enough definitive research on herbal use during pregnancy and lactation. There is no way to determine the amount, if any, of each herb
that might filter into the milk. For this reason, we do not recommend the use of Custom Essentials during lactation.
This is a labeling requirement from the U.S. government. The % Daily Value is another way of saying, the percent of the U.S. Recommended
Dietary Allowances. We have 48 different combinations of nutrients and nutrient levels. For some nutrients, the USRDA amounts are the same,
for some nutrients they are lower, and in some instances, they are higher than the USRDA. That's why you get the different percentages.
This column is really meaningless unless you just want to know how your level of a specific nutrient compares to the recommended amount
for a mythological 154-pound person, in good health, eating 2000 calories per day. It is just required by labeling law that each nutrient
in a formula is compared to the USRDA. However, for some nutrients, the government has not set any "recommended dietary amount." These
are the ones that have asterisks in that column (this is footnoted under the bottom heavy black line on the Supplement Facts label).
Since starting Custom Essentials, I seem to have an increased appetite. Why?
Most people report a decrease in food cravings as their nutritional status improves. However, a few people will report an increased appetite.
This is probably due to the thiamine in Custom Essentials. This vitamin has long been known as the "appetite" vitamin. In fact, many nursing and
medical schools use the letters TAB to help students remember the functions of this vitamin (T, for thiamine, A, for appetite, and B, for beriberi,
the deficiency disease). If you are affected this way, try our Protocol of split dosing. Decreasing the amount you are receiving at
any one meal often corrects this problem.
It is also possible that, as you "rev" up biochemical pathways, your body is requiring more energy to do the work and, consequently, is calling
upon you to eat more. This is entirely okay, just be sure that you make your food selections from high quality foods such as lean meats and
low-glycemic vegetables. Low-glycemic vegetables are generally the leafy or above-ground growing vegetables such as greens, summer squashes,
cucumbers, etc. Higher glycemic vegetables are usually the root vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, beets, and turnips. Check your local
bookstore for a more detailed list.
CAAC-18 means "Chelated Amino Acid Complex-18". This means that our minerals are chelated, or bound, to 18 different amino acid carrier
molecules. Since minerals are hard to absorb, this carrier molecule enhances absorption, making our minerals more effective than inorganic
forms, such as calcium carbonate or magnesium oxide.
Since you aren't measuring specific nutrient levels, how do you determine what goes into my Custom Essentials?

Your Custom Essentials is customized as follows:
First, a foundation formulation of all the known essential vitamins and minerals is selected for you based on your gender,
age, and your answers to the lab questionnaire with dosages determined by using data for persons of your sex and age group derived from thousands of research studies

Next, your test results are evaluated. Each test result category has certain sets of nutrients associated with it, which are known
